What a gorgeous fairytale Chloe and Alex’s wedding day was! From the very beginning of the planning process for the newlyweds wedding day film it was simply joyous and we have been so proud to be a part of it.
The Wedding Day was filmed at the very grand Ashridge House, which we are very proud to be recommended videographers for, and what a setting this truly is. The SOVP team arrived early on to capture some lovely intro shots and to show off this perfect venue. Once the guests started to arrive the love was certainly in the air and the atmosphere was electric.
Chloe and Alex have such lovely warm and easy going personalities that capturing them on film was very easy and fun. Filming the couple photo session was alot of fun and we had alot of laughs inbetween the shots too; a really great memory for us!
We wish these lovely newlyweds all the love and happiness in the world. Its been such a pleasure and we too will treasure the memories of their amazing day!xxView Video & Comments
Amazing day and fun loving couple! Becky and Costas are two lovely people who invited us to capture their special occasion. Filmed at the beautiful Highgate House in Northampton the Sovp team travelled up from HQ in Hertfordshire to capture the memories.
Sovp are no strangers to filming weddings all over the UK and abroad so destination weddings are always seen as an adventure.
After meeting Becky and Costas at our pre-wedding video meeting in the studio nearly 3 months before the big day; it was clear to us that their wedding day was really important to them. The day itself was run perfectly by the friendly team at Highgate House and the air was filled with love and laughter throughout by the many guests.
A big shout out to Pho2u for being such lovely wedding photographers and to once again work alongside too. Lovely people!
We were lucky enough to also capture a sunset magic hour shot of the newlyweds too before we left!
Wishing Becky and Costas all the very best in the future and thank you again for inviting us to capture your very special occasion!xView Video & Comments
A gorgeous day was spent with the stunning Ellie and James on their wonderful wedding day at Woolston Manor Golf and Country Club. Ellie had made contact with SOVP many months before her wedding day after finding us online. She was delighted that we had the date available and so were we!
These two lovely people made capturing a wedding really easy. Both very fun loving and a delight to be around. Afterall natural wedding films are what SOVP are about and adding the touch of cinema to the film makes a great balance.
The day for us started with a Catholic wedding in Waltham Cross. And once the ‘I do’s’ were said and the confetti thrown we all made our way to Chigwell in Essex for a delightful welcome from the team at Woolston Manor. This was a new location for SOVP to film at and the day was certainly a sunny one filled with lots of love from the many guests that newlyweds Ellie and James had invited to share the special occasion with.
Capturing some stunning sunset shots around the golf course was definitely a highlight for us and we added these shots to the highlights trailer too.
It has been such a great time getting to know Ellie & James and we hope that their wedding film is cherished for many years and generations to come!xView Video & Comments
When it comes to capturing a wedding we are very proud to say, that we love every second. Michaela and Nicky’s special occasion and more a Jewish wedding special occasion, was simply AMAZING!
Filmed at Sopwell House Hotel in St Albans. The day was full of emotion and yet the party was so vibrant. We had been contacted by Tracy (mother of the bride) almost a year before the actual wedding date. After a lovely chat on the telephone we were hired and could not wait to start planning for the film.
We love filming Jewish weddings at Sopwell House. The team always have things under control, but for this wedding Jango the toastmaster was on hand to give us, the other suppliers and also the guests the peace of mind that all ran smoothly.
For us filming the party was certainly a highlight and which is why in the highlights reel we added alot more shots that usual from the dancefloor. With live music to set the scene, the dance floor never empty and the guests dancing away like no one was watching, it was just the perfect way to film a celebration.
We wish both Michaela & Nicky and their familes all the very best for the futures and hope that their wedding day film gives them a lovely reminder of the start of this special chapter!xxView Video & Comments
Two of the most lovely people are Emma & Geoff. These two made this wedding what it truly was. Love, laughter, smiles and sincere fun! It was such a pleasure being present and capturing their very special occasion.
As recommended videography suppliers to Offley Place, it was fitting that we met these newlyweds ‘to be’ at the Offley Place wedding show around 8 months before the wedding. After some questions about our services and a nice chat we were booked up and could not wait to start planning for the film. Groom Geoff, if you had not noticed, is from across the pond in America and had mentioned family and friends were travelling some distance to attend the big day. So for us, capturing the memories was even more important and needed.
The day was of course set at Offley Place Country House Hotel for a Civil wedding followed by a reception party. The atmosphere was so friendly and fun loving. We felt like guests too! The Sovp team filmed from the morning shots with the bride and stayed until the dancefloor was packed!
Getting to know Emma & Geoff has been a pleasure. We hope that their wedding video serves as a nice reminder of their new chapter together and as the years go by they are able to look back with warm hearts. Best wishes, Martin and the SOVP team!xView Video & Comments
We all love a good wedding. And lets face it, it is one of the most emotional days a person can experience. Whether you’re a guest, a family member or a supplier for the wedding couple, we all have a different story to tell about how they got there and tied the knot.
Special Occasion Videos meets with soon-to-be newlyweds sometimes years before their special day. Usually over a cup of tea in the studio, we discuss their plans of how their wedding day will be and what their wedding film will look like.
This is a lovely moment for us because on the day we mostly blend in so we can capture events naturally and allow the occasion to unfold.
