Hayley & Nicky pulled out all the stops for their amazing day. It truly was a day of love, emotion and laughter.
Bride Hayley had contacted SOVP having found us from a friends recommendation and soon arranged a meeting for herself and Nicky to meet up with us and talka bout their wedding day and of course their wedding film.
The backdrop, or film set, for the day was the Adam & Eve Pub in Mill Hill and with this stunning family location, especially on New Years Eve; its really easy to set just the right mood for a special occasion. The ceremony was Catholic and was only a stones throw from the reception venue too.
A highlight for us was certianly the live band and party to count in the New Year. The atmosphere was electric and filled with love and laughter. The dancefloor did not empty even for a second!
We wish Hayley and Nicky love, health and of course a true happiness in their lives together and hope that their wedding film is something themselves and their loved ones go back to time and time again to remember that special occasion.View Video & Comments
Soraya & Harry and two lovely people who we had the pleasure to meet up with at the studio just months before their special day. Sovp were introduced to the couple by the splendid Hertford based photographer Patrick Bennett; whom we love to spend the day with as its always a great team effort. It was clear from the word ‘go’ that the newlyweds day was going to awesome and it really was a day filled with love, laughter and emotion!
The backdrop, or film set, for the day was the very wonderful Gaynes Park in Epping, Essex and with this stunning location its really easy to set just the right mood for a special occasion. We are no strangers to this fabulous venue and its always a pleasure to film at Gaynes Park.
A highlight on the day for us was definitely capturing the first look of the Father of the bride seeing his daughter just prior the ceremony. As we say, this is film gold! The Sovp camera team captured everything from the morning preparations all the way until the guests were celebrating the night away.
We wish Soraya & Harry love, health and of course a truehappiness in their lives together and hope that their wedding film is somethingthemselves and their loved ones go back to time and time again to remember that
Katie and Graeme pulled out all the stops for their amazing day. It truly was a day of love, emotion and laughter.
Bride Katie had contacted SOVP having found us online and soon arranged a meeting for herself and Graeme to meet up with us and talk about their wedding day and of course their wedding film.
It was very clear from the outset that this day was going to be a very emotional day for them both, as Katie’s parents were sadly no longer with us. Katie had prepared a poem to read in honour of her parents and there was not a dry eye in the room.
The photography was by The Reportage Company and Matt was great to work alongside and very easy going/pro as ever.
Traditionally the bride will walk down the aisle towards her future husband with a family member. However, Katie and Graeme decided to do things their own way by having Graeme stand at the door of the ceremony room with the guests behind him and stunning
bride Katie being revealed as the doors opened; with the couple then walking hand in hand together down the aisle. SOVP really wanted to convey this moment on film forever so we set out and planned 3 camera shots for this moment alone. It was a very wonderful moment and a really lovely way to do things.
The backdrop, or film set, for the day was the very grand Down Hall Country Hotel and with this stunning location its really easy to set just the right mood for a special occasion.
A highlight for us was the firework display and for a November wedding it was simply perfect.
We wish Katie and Graeme love, health and of course a true happiness in their lives together and hope that their wedding film is something themselves and their loved ones go back to time and time again to remember that special occasion.View Video & Comments
What an absolutely fun loving couple! It was alot of joy to capture Harriet and James special day at The Great Tythe Barn in the Cotswolds. We love a roadtrip and heading to this stunning part of the country was a pleasure.
Newlyweds Harriet and James made things very easy for us as they just had a great time with their loved ones and this meant we could capture the love and follow the day in film easily.
The day started early for us to catch some outside shots around the venue and at the agreed time the bridal prep shots started. Not before long the guests and dashing groom James and his groomsmen arrived. As the drinks reception and toasts were complete we took the couple off for some lovely fun and romantic shots around the stunning grounds of this beautiful venue.
The team at The Great Tythe Barn were very welcoming and so this made the filming day more fun and memorable. Sovp truly recommends this wonderful venue if you are planning a wedding in the Cotswolds,
We have really enjoyed getting to know Harriet and James and capturing them on what was their amazing wedding. Its been hard to watch their highlights film back without shedding a tear or two!xView Video & Comments
Beautiful Kim and dashing groom Matthew planned their amazing day at the simply breathtaking Ashridge House. What a truly fabulous occasion it was too.
We had met Northampton based bride Kim at a wedding show at Ashridge House only months before the wedding; and after some emails and some ideas for the film sent back and forth we were ready and planning to capture the occasion. Sovp are proud recommended suppliers to Ashridge House and as you can see it makes the perfect backdrop for any film set. We were lucky enough to have Gary Nunn Photography capture some stunning aerial drone footage of the venue; which really serve some wonderful establishing shots of where we were. We fully recommend all clients to have some drone shots captured as it really does enhance your film.
The weather was up and down on the day, but in true wedding style ‘the show must go on’ and once the guests arrived the atmosphere was filled with love and support for the newlyweds. The Ashridge House team were excellent throughout and all was to time.
The speeches were a highlight for us as the words from Kim’s father were very heartfelt and groom Matthews was very funny and emotional too.
Working alongside photographer Marcus of Marcus Charter Photography was wonderful. He is a real gent and fun to work with on such an important day too.
We wish Kim and Matthew all the very best wishes for the future and hope that their wedding film serves as a lasting reminder of that special day and where it all began for this new chapter xxView Video & Comments
We all love a good wedding. And lets face it, it is one of the most emotional days a person can experience. Whether you’re a guest, a family member or a supplier for the wedding couple, we all have a different story to tell about how they got there and tied the knot.
Special Occasion Videos meets with soon-to-be newlyweds sometimes years before their special day. Usually over a cup of tea in the studio, we discuss their plans of how their wedding day will be and what their wedding film will look like.
This is a lovely moment for us because on the day we mostly blend in so we can capture events naturally and allow the occasion to unfold.
